These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Badgetrac platform, including our website, applications, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Account Terms
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the Service
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
- Collect attendee data for purposes not authorized by the event organizer
Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service, including attendee records, event configurations, and badge designs. We do not claim ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Payment Terms
Paid plans are billed per event as described on our pricing page. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will provide advance notice of planned maintenance when possible.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Badgetrac shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Termination
You may cancel your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
