Buy a lead scanning license

Some organizers charge exhibitors for lead scanning. The organizer sets the price, and you pay once per event through a secure Stripe checkout.

Buy your license (exhibitors)

   Step 1: Open your dashboard

   In your exhibitor workspace, click Dashboard. If a license is needed, you'll see Buy lead scanning for this event.

   Step 2: Pay

   Click Buy for and the price, then pay on the secure Stripe checkout page.

   Step 3: Start scanning

   Back on the dashboard, the banner is gone. Scan, tag and export as usual.

What a license unlocks

Without a license you can still sign in and open the scanner, but:

• New scans aren't saved. Scans made offline wait in the app and upload after you buy.
• Downloads from the server (Export CSV on the website, Export from server in the app, and the ROI report) are blocked.

Leads you already have can still be edited. Refunds are handled by the organizer.

Sell licenses (organizers)

   Step 1: Open Event settings

   Open your event's Event settings and find Sell lead scanning to exhibitors.

   Step 2: Connect Stripe

   Click Connect Stripe and finish Stripe's onboarding. Payments go to your Stripe account.

   Step 3: Set the price

   Enter a Price per exhibitor (USD) and click Start selling.

   Step 4: Include exhibitors for free

   Click Include for free next to any exhibitor who shouldn't pay, such as top sponsors.

Pricing and fees for organizers

• Set any price from $99 to $5,000 per exhibitor.
• Badgetrac keeps $49 or 15% of each sale, whichever is more. The settings page shows exactly what you receive per exhibitor.
• The exhibitor table shows each exhibitor as Not purchased, Paid or Included by organizer. Click Require purchase to undo Include for free.
• Click Stop selling to turn licenses off. Refunds are made in your Stripe dashboard.

Not every account has license sales turned on yet. If you don't see Sell lead scanning to exhibitors in event settings, contact us.
